ICBND Leadership Exchange
The ICBND Leadership Exchange is where financial leaders connect, grow, and influence the future. Launched in 2026, the Exchange unites ICBND Emerging Leaders and program alumni to foster meaningful professional relationships in an evolving industry. The Leadership Exchange houses both our Emerging Leaders program, and the new Lead Forward program launching this year. The Leadership Exchange will feature in-person, joint events for both groups with opportunities for focused programming for each level of leadership. The same great programming and events that you've come to love, with an added focus for both those new to banking, and those established. Banks can take advantage of a single price structure when registering bankers for either level of leadership within the exchange.
Emerging Leaders
The Emerging Leaders Program was originally designed specifically for the future community bank leader. This program aims to support North Dakota's community banks in developing their employees into leaders of influence for the bank, and their communities. In 2026, the Emerging Leaders curriculum will feature additional in person and virtual sessions separate from Lead Forward participants aimed specifically at bankers early in their careers who want to grow their leadership skills.
Lead Forward
Lead Forward curriculum is for bankers with established leadership roles and/or seeking continuous improvement, networking opportunities, and exposure to North Dakota industries and community leaders - ideal for alumni who've "emerged" and are now climbing higher.
Winter Session: February 13, 2026
Grand Forks, ND
Our meeting sponsor, associate member Shazam, will conduct education sessions for attendees. They will present on AI and the future of payments, as well as emotional intelligence. The education session will be held at First State Bank, and the evening event will be held in Suite 201 at the Ralph Engelstad Arena. The evening event includes reserved seats for a UND hockey game, parking passes, VIP credentials, a delicious meal, and open bar. We have limited tickets to this event and will be inviting the ICBND Board of Directors, ICB Services Board and our staff members to join us. We are currently only offering the event tickets to members. If we have extra tickets, we will open it up to spouses/guests.
Summer Session: June 24-25, 2026

We are working on an excellent lineup of speakers and events for the annual Summer Leadership Conference. Speakers will focus on leadership development and economic growth. You do not want to miss the events we have planned for this session!
ICBND Annual Convention: September 21-23, 2026
Medora, ND
That’s right! The 2026 ICBND Annual Convention will be held in legendary Medora! We have an excellent Annual Convention line up with lots of great speakers, entertainment and networking opportunities. Education sessions will focus on personal development, leadership and hot topics affecting the banking industry. Of course, there will be lots of fun with our Exhibitor Trade Show and Golf Scramble. You’re definitely going to want to be a part of this event!
