Great advocates know how to make their message clear, compelling, and memorable. This interactive session will help bankers build confidence in public speaking, communicate more effectively with key audiences, and tell the community banking story in a way that connects. Participants will leave with practical tools they can use the next time they are called on to speak, advocate, or represent their bank.

The North Dakota Department of Commerce leads the state's efforts to attract, retain and expand economic wealth. Charged with coordinating and focusing the state's economic development resources, the business development team works closely with national and local partners to accomplish that task. Business incentives, government accessibility, and workforce performance, combined with North Dakota's favorable position as one of the lowest cost states for operating a business, are driving top companies to establish operations in North Dakota. The Economic Development and Finance division provides full service site location, incentive packaging and business liaison assistance.

The Lewis & Clark Development Group is a collaboration of three separate non-profit organizations, Lewis & Clark Regional Development Council (LCRDC), the Lewis & Clark Certified Development Company (LCCDC), and CommunityWorks North Dakota (CWND), joined to provide programs and loans to support businesses, local governments, and individuals in expanding affordable housing opportunities and advancing economic and community development across North Dakota.

Tour of Doosan Bobcat Acceleration Center - tentative
In 2014 the Doosan Bobcat Acceleration Center was established to foster innovative product development and design, prototype engineering and manufacturing, computer software engineering and extensive product test facility. The Acceleration Center is a key engineering facility for all Bobcat compact equipment distributed globally.
