Session Descriptions
ND Industry Snapshots – Overviews + Panel Q&A
Get up to speed on three pivotal industries and topics shaping North Dakota’s economy. In this session, industry experts will deliver brief overviews of the agriculture, energy, and digital asset sectors, followed by an interactive cross‑sector discussion and Q&A. Explore emerging trends in fintech, the evolving oil and gas landscape, and dynamic beef markets.
Welcome to the Jungle Leadership Training
An organization is only as strong as the people it employs. But, it’s not just about having great people. It’s about how those people work together to have a greater impact. The best teams support each other, listen, take responsibility, and stay open to new ideas.
Welcome to the Jungle Leadership Training will give attendees simple tools to build better teams and improve how they work and lead every day. A few objectives for the session include:
- Identify your natural tendencies and the tendencies you adapt to under stress.
- Recognize the personality types on your team, and how to better work with them.
- Discover how to stop apologizing for your natural strengths.
- And more!
Chair Yoga for the Workplace
Refresh, reset, and recharge with Kelly Hoeven! Not only is Kelly a Financial Institutions Consultant at Brady Martz, but she is also a yoga instructor at Soul Haven Studios. This upbeat chair yoga session features easy stretches and simple breathing you can do right at your desk—no experience needed. Walk away feeling energized, less stressed, and ready to take on the rest of your day.
Leading Together: Communication and Leadership Across Generations
A practical, experience-driven panel exploring how leaders can bridge generational differences to build effective teams. Featuring four panelists from four different generations and industries, we’ll discuss common communication barriers, highlight generational strengths, and share strategies for leading multi-generational workplaces.
Inspirational Keynote by Olympic Gold Medalist Carly Patterson
Carly will share insights on achieving excellence, adapting to change, and finding fulfillment beyond one’s greatest accomplishments. Carly’s gymnastics all-around gold medal from the 2004 Athens Olympics will be on hand for attendees to see!
