Starion is seeking a Customer Service Call Center Representative in Mandan.
 
Must be available to work in our Mandan location. Hours for this position could vary daily between 7 AM and 6 PM Monday – Friday and will be included in a Saturday rotation.
 
Title and salary dependent on experience.

The Customer Service Call Center Representative will
• Process and manage online accounts and consumer loans
• Deliver advanced digital and online offerings (online, mobile, social, phone, email chat at more)
• Enhance the customer experience while providing solutions to customers
• Provide customers with convenient ways to manage their accounts and provide solutions that meet their financial needs
• Serve all Starion Bank locations throughout North Dakota and Wisconsin
 
Customer Service Call Center Representatives are responsible for responding to routine and complex customer inquiries regarding consumer products and services as well as
• Quickly answer customer inquiries in a friendly and courteous manner
• Deliver exceptional service
• Provide first call resolution while following procedures that meet compliance guidelines
• Identify and offer customers the products and services they need and want to succeed financially
• Complete weekly tasks as assigned
• Assist customers with navigating and troubleshooting various online products
 
Preferred Qualifications:
• One or more years of customer service experience
• Experience in a call center or customer service setting
• General understanding of standard bank transactions as well as common products and services
• Bilingual in English and Spanish desired but not required

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Analyze and interpret trust and other legal documents to ensure proper administration of accounts.
  • Execute comprehensive management and administration of various accounts, including Trust, Conservatorship, estate, IRA and Investment accounts, on behalf of clients.
  • Manage the administration of specialty assets such as real estate, mineral rights, etc.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and CPAs of clients on behalf of mutual clients as needed.
  • Develop client relationships and consistently provide an exceptional client experience in person, over the phone and through written communication.
  • Authorize transactions performed by Administrative Associates, based on client requests and/or direction of trust documents.
  • Initiate contact with potential clients and develop expanded relationships with existing clients and their families.
  • Engage in external networking events to create new business opportunities.

Position Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is a prerequisite.
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in trust administration is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 years of prior experience in legal, trust accounting or CPA is preferred.
  • Possess a general understanding of the tax flow and accounting income of Trusts and Estates.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Display self-motivation and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Resourceful in problem solving and seeking answers when encountering new situations.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask and excellent follow-up abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct daily retail operations for five locations in Bismarck/Mandan
  • Coach, develop and train retail staff
  • Leadership, Management & Accountability (LMA), staffing, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, vision, values and strategic priorities
  • Ensure quality customer service, achieve assigned metrics and goals, address complex customer issues
  • Develop long-term relationships with consumer and business customers as well as maintain existing customer relationships

 

Qualifications

  • Eight to ten years of experience in retail banking, including management and sales coaching.
