10:30 am - 11:45 am Skimming, Scammers and Security
Ben Hayden, Risk Services Manager, SHAZAM
Across the country, skimmers and the cloned cards they produce are costing banks millions of dollars in fraudulent transactions, re-issued cards and damaged reputations. Understand how skimming happens and what to do when it does occur. We’ll share real world examples and short videos to demonstrate how skimmers work, how data is collected and how easy it is to clone a card from the collected data. Once a card is compromised, learn how to mitigate the risk and ways to fight back.
11:45 pm - 12:45 pm Lunch Sponsored by SHAZAM
12:45 pm - 2:00 pm Social Media: Paid, Owned, Earned
Patrick Dix, VP-Strategic Alliances, SHAZAM
Social media is increasingly being used for developing connections and advocacy efforts. Utilizing a mix of owned, earned and paid social media increases engagement, raises awareness of your brand and ultimately improves your bottom line. It’s a balance of what you are saying, what others are saying about you, and
what paid messages are purchased. This session will provide insights for stablishing a social media plan incorporating owned, earned and paid media.
