This is a morning webinar

8:00 AM Pacific        9:00 AM Mountain

10:00 AM Central     11:00 AM Eastern

A new deadline!  New ATR and QM rule changes are effective July 1, 2021.  The new rules cover General QM loans and Seasoned QMs – a whole new category and new set of rules.  Do you know which loans will be affected?  Are ability-to-repay calculations changing?  Now’s the time to get the specifics, learn how to strengthen ATR/QM compliance, and get implementation guidance.

AFTER THIS WEBINAR YOU’LL BE ABLE TO:

  • Understand the newly issued QM final rules
  • Determine which loans are affected by the ATR/QM rules
  • Define the qualified mortgage options and requirements for each
  • Use best practices and tools to determine a borrower’s ability to repay
  • Identify which institutions qualify as “small creditors”

WEBINAR DETAILS

The CFPB recently finalized two rules related to qualified mortgage (QM) loans.  The first replaces current debt-to-income (DTI) requirements for General QM loans; the second creates an entirely new category for qualified mortgages – Seasoned QMs.  Both rules are effective 60 days after publication in the Federal Register; however, the mandatory compliance date for the General QM requirements is July 1, 2021 – which will be here before you know it!

This webinar will dive into the final QM rules and provide best practices for preparing your policies, procedures, systems, and staff for the changes.  In addition, it will review the seven ability-to-repay (ATR) options and not only provide guidance to implement the new changes, but also to strengthen your current ATR/QM compliance program.  Don’t miss this jam-packed session!

This informative session would best suit loan officers, loan operations personnel, compliance officers, and internal auditors.
