ICBND News & Legislature Minimize
Legislative Information Minimize
ICBND is a proactive industry advocate before the state legislature as the voice of independent banking in North Dakota. During the North Dakota Legislative session, ICBND monitors bills and takes a position to actively support or oppose the proposed legislation as appropriate in order to protect and promote the interests of independent community banks.

The Legislative Status Report is regularly updated during the session to summarize the bills being monitored and gives a current status on those bills. The names and addresses of all state senators and representatives are shown in the Legislative Assembly. The Congressional Delegation shows the names and the addresses of North Dakota’s representatives in Congress. Capitol Hill gives pertinent website addresses in Washington, D.C.

ICBND’s Political Action Committee (ICBankPAC) is used exclusively to support candidates in legislative races from both political parties. ICBND’s PAC is NOT used to support any statewide political offices or candidates. We strongly encourage you to consider making a contribution to ICBND’s PAC annually to help provide funding to qualified candidates for state legislative races.

To make a contribution to the PAC make your check payable to ICBankPAC and mail it to ICBND, 1136 West Divide Avenue, Bismarck, ND 58501. All contributions must be from personal funds and cannot be accepted from any other form of legal entity. If you have any questions relating to the PAC please contact ICBND’s offices at (800) 862-0672 or (701) 258-7121.

We also strongly encourage you to donate to ICBA’s Political Action Committee as well which exclusively represents community banks in federal legislative and regulatory issues.

The Independent Community Bankers Political Action Committee (ICBPAC) is the non-partisan political action committee of the ICBA, the nation’s voice for community banks. ICBPAC is the only federal PAC dedicated exclusively to representing the community banking industry. If you are a member of ICBA and would like more information about ICBPAC, please contact: Courtney Schoenborn, ICBPAC Director at (202) 659-8111 or email her at courtney.schoenborn@icba.org or visit the ICBA website at www.icba.org
