 The Independent Community Bank Services, Inc. (ICBS, Inc.) was formed in August, 1989 as a bank service corporation for the Independent Community Banks of North Dakota (ICBND). Until then, independent banks could not compete effectively in the credit card market. We provide participating banks with a comprehensive menu of cutting-edge products that make running a card program easy.
The credit card program allows your bank to have its own Visa card or merchant program. As the issuer, you manage the portfolio and drive the program. Credit decisions, rates and fees are determined by you. You hold your own receivables. All ICBS, Inc. credit card members’ banks share in the expenses, which keeps the program expenses down for everyone. This program, along with ICBA Bancard program, offers:
